The Majors are over and now it's time to focus on the FedEx Cup race. This week's Wyndham Championship from Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina is the final tournament before the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Last year's winner Carl Pettersson shot a 61 in round two in route to his -21 and two shot victory over Scott McCarron. Sedgefield is a course that will yield a lot of birdies this week. This is a pretty watered down field. That's good news for guys outside the top 125 in the FedEx Cup standings to make their final push to qualify for the playoffs.

Here are five guys I'm taking a shot on this week:
Michael Letzig 25-1: Letzig is coming off two straight top-10's and has only missed one cut all year. He finished t-9 here last year.
John Senden 33-1: Senden is a very accurate driver and good on approach shots. His only downfall is his putting. He's ranked 187th this year, but finished t-6 here last year. With the weaker field this week, I look for him to be in contention come Sunday.
Jonathan Byrd 40-1: Byrd has a great track record at this event. Five top-30's including two top-5's. He's 22nd in driving distance and 8th in GIR. 40-1 is good value for this guy.
Scott McCarron 40-1: McCarron finished 2nd here last year and has been playing well as of late. He's 17th on Tour in total driving. He's not a bad putter either so I give him a good shot this week.
Ryan Moore: 66-1: Moore will be my long-shot of the week. He tends to do well on birdie courses. He's a long driver and decent putter. He just needs to get on the green in regulation a little more. He finished t-6 here two years ago, but missed the cut last year.
Tournament matchup predictions: Lucas Glover -115 over Sergio Garcia Ryan Moore -115 over Charley Hoffman John Senden -115 over K.J. Choi
Good luck to everyone and enjoy the 2009 Wyndham Championsip!
