Tiger Woods’ first tournament since his dramatic U.S. Open victory will be at this year’s first World Golf Championships event. He will be defending his title at the Accenture Match Play at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona. This is the 3rd year The Ritz-Carlton has hosted this event. Last year Tiger defeated Stewart Cink 8 and 7. This is a very tough format to try and handicap, so I’m going to pass on giving out advice on this tournament. All eyes will be on Tiger Woods this week as he makes his comeback from knee surgery. I wouldn’t bet against him, but I wonder about him walking 36 holes and Saturday and Sunday, if he gets that far.
